Before Benjamin, the Outcast of the Silo society, is killed, he reveals the existence of his world to a woman named Eve, a member of a primitive group of predators found in a subterranean warehouse. Using people as her disposable tools, she manages to find the passage to the other world. As she sets foot in this new place, she is partially overwhelmed by its insistence on rules of order. After coming from a society of absolute freedom, she wonders if she will fit...and even more so, survive in this new place, which she discovers is led by women.
Watch as she uses the strength of having no emotions to exploits the weaknesses of this new world. She came here to escape death, but now it is a tool she employs for gain. Will she succeed or will she fail as the new world waits on the brink of the Eve of Destruction.

Unique and different take on the Silo Saga

This story had definite pros and cons.
Pros: It's unique. Read enough of these Silo stories and they start to become redundant. This one was different. The story begins in a large warehouse where the people have lost all civilization and live like animals. It ends in a silo. Eve is a sympathetic but scary protagonist. The end is suspenseful, leaving you wanting more. I can imagine so many ways in which Eve might bring about the destruction of the silo.
Cons: Needs some editing for spelling/typos. But the big thing that got me was this: I just couldn't buy into the characters in the warehouse. For somebody who has lost all language, Eve has some complex thoughts. How do you think (beyond basic animal survival) without language? How do you plan for the future? Realize that "what is the use of surviving if one's condition never changed?"

Interesting book regarding the silo series . Some interesting angles and information that was unexpected .

Well written book in the Silo series. I would love to find a diagram or map showing the connections between different silos . Also would like to know which Silos were destroyed and which have survived . The author connected his silos with the other silos.
